eSports and its role in employer branding

This study investigates the impact on the Employer Branding of one company with the involvement in eSports. By understand the connection between eSports and em- ployer branding, company provides suitable strategy accordingly to increase their inner employer branding amongst the current employees, as well as increase the possibility to approach the potential talents. The investigated objectives of the study are rewritten to following research questions: (1) Do eSports fans prefer to work in company with involvement in eSports? and (2) What is the impact of eSports on Em- ployer Branding of one company? To achieve the objectives, the study released a practical survey towards eSports fans on social media platforms, and by applying statistical test: Chi-squared test of independence and analyzing the responded data, the answers are drawn. It is expected that through the study, company see the po- tential of eSports in the context of enhancing its employer branding strategy both internally and externally.
Who are the producers and consumers of media content published on the Twitch platform

Due to the rise of technological convergence, the production of media content is currently available to anyone with befitting means. The situation is no different in the area of streaming and video games. This diploma thesis is focusing on producers and consumers of media content streamed on the video platform Twitch. This platform enables their users, if they dispose of quality internet and sufficient hardware, to produce real time streamed media content on nearly professional level. Hundreds of millions of viewers are watching Twitch monthly and this thesis is trying to introduce the very streamers of media content on this platform, their success and failure, while monitoring their viewership.
Marketing Communication within the Czech eSports Scene

The thesis deals with the phenomenon of electronic sports in the Czech Republic and examines how the participants of the Czech esports scene use marketing and communication tools. The theoreticalpartdefinesthe term computergame,esportsand explainsthe principle of an esports scene on the example of a specific game. The subsequent chapter then describes the theoretical foundations of marketing, which are studied further in the thesis. The practical part first introduces the local esports scene, its history, and participants, and then describes the communication activities used by these participants. Based on the interviews and analysis, it was found that the marketing communication of the participants of the local scene is on a professional level and corresponds to international standards.
Attitudes of UK FTVS students toward esports

Title: Attitudes of UK FTVS students toward esports. Objective: The main aim of this thesis is to identify what attitudes students of Charles University have to esports. We will also discuss whether the students would accept esports as one of the Olympic disciplines, and if esports are even perceived as a full-fledged sport. Methods: The method used for the bachelor thesis was quantitative questioning. Data were obtained by using an electronic questionnaire. Results: The results point to the penetration of esports into the consciousness of students. This is confirmed by the high overall know-how in the foreign and also domestic esports scene. Students attitudes towards esports are relatively neutral. The opinion of the students for the inclusion of esports in the Olympic Games was negative, because according to the research, they do not perceive esports as a full-fledged sport. Business plan for an eSports bar

The aim of this masters thesis is to demonstrate a business plan tailored for an eSports bar located in Prague, which consists of three sections. Theoretical part introduces the reader basic terminology of entrepreneurship, environment of small and medium enterprises and the structure of a business plan, realization of which is the subject of practical part. Methodical part deals with a primary marketing research. The main purpose of the thesis is to evaluate the feasibility and the viability of the project.
eSports in the world and the Czech Republic

The main goal of the thesis is to describe eSports in the world and the Czech Republic. On the other hand the thesis shows MOBA games, their differences from another genres and their prestige. In the Czech republic I found out interview with gaming managers as the best option.
